Jyote Group lift Secretariat Cup

Automobile dealers Jyote Group retained their trophy in the 10th edition of the Secretariat Cup Cricket Tournament at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar today. Joyte Group beat HDFC Standard Life by seven wickets in the final, which witnessed a tight finish. Water Resources Secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra gave away the trophy and cash prizes at the closing ceremony. Host Orissa Secretariat Cricket Association (OSCA) president Rabi Narayan Nanda and general secretary Tarun Chandra Paul spoke on the role of the tournament and thanked all the teams for their cooperation. Secretariat Cup is being conducted to develop friendship among employees of government, private and corporate establishments of the Capital city. In the 10th edition, Reserve Bank of India`s former Ranji Trophy all-rounder Soumitra Choudhury was adjudged as the Man of the Tournament, while Jyote Group`s Tribikram Swain was named as the Man of the Final Match.
